One of the things that I love the most about working in Web3 is seeing collaboration create success where competition otherwise would fail. Another thing I love is seeing builders getting incentivized to make things that people actually want to use! This is going to be a story about both of those things. And about how /nearchos does collaboration! š

First off, let's start with the transparency, because that's how we roll. I recently started contracting with a new builder funding protocol, @letsdivvi. I found the premise fascinating: using blockchain to permissionlessly fund builder incentives using onchain metrics. This kind of protocol level funding mechanism could address a lot of the red tape in the current funding ecosystem (grants, retro, etc), so color me intrigued! Building a protocol isn't easy, however, and they recognized the value in bringing us on to advise on how to navigate this journey and help onboard builders. The first step of collaboration! š

In researching the funding landscape for builders, I was immediately reminded of our friends over at Charmverse and their new mechanism for supporting OSS: @scoutgamexyz. Scout Game is a unique take on Fantasy Sports that engages users with the Devs that keep things running in this ecosystem. OSS has a massive need for contributors to assist with a wide variety of tasks in order to keep public infrastructure up and running. Some protocols have funded bounty programs for this, but it's often hard to connect devs with tasks they can complete. Enter Scout Game, where they aggregate all the devs together into a community and activate them around getting rewarded for hunting down bounties and fixing real problems in the world! I got @ccarella.eth on a call with @denisslein.eth to see how things meshed: It was immediate value alignment, just as I expected! š

At first glance, some might see these two projects as competition. In the web2 world, they certainly could have been! But in the collaborative world of web3, things are done a little differently! Through a spirit of growing the pie for everyone, @letsdivvi and @scoutgamexyz were able to come together to support two of the most crucial things we need builders focused on: 1. activating users 2. maintaining OSS Uniting over the common goal of funding builders, this collaboration provides wins all around! It feels good to win! š

So how can you win too? Get on over to app.divvi.xyz and get your app registered to earn from a pool of 180k $DEV over the next 4 weeks! And then swing over to scoutgame.xyz to get registered and start hunting bounties! Not a dev? Scout Game has fun for you too! Compete with your friends to see who can scout the better fantasy team each week! This is just wins all around for everyone, what's not to love? This is web3. Collaborate and win!
