My $0.02: consider renaming them. The airdrop word carries a lot of weight in the space that people can’t part ways with.

Seeing as these tend to be meant to drive traffic they’re closer to promotions, incentives, rewards.

These are more like when hello fresh offers me $100 in credit to resubscribe.

Such a great point 

Reframing these things as a “promotional offer” or “sign up bonus” is much more indicative of what these are

This will suffer the same fate as Frames. It’s fun and all but it’s still not clear and honest.

You are being paid for loyalty to a product except the loyalty is implicit. It’s not a “drop” if you can’t do whatever you want with it.

Imagine walking into a car dealer and they were like “ey we got insane CarDrops right now!”

Instead it’s nice and clear: “what are the incentives?”

You know you’re signing up for debt and in exchange you’re getting a sweetened deal but it’s not free money by any means.

It’s like lipstick on a pig tho tbh just call them promotional offers lmao
