I do this pretty often. 

Easiest quickest way is to set each app as hidden in iOS and then it goes away from the home screen and notifications

Uninstall and use them through a browser at much lower quality

Yeah I just know that using IG or Twitter through a browser is so cumbersome, makes me not want to use those sites at all. So I'll only be on there for a few minutes then I'm done

If I have them installed I can spend the whole day doom scrolling without being pissed off at the interface

what’s funny is if you do this trick to the OS it thinks it’s uninstalled so links point to the browser. But I don’t login there that defeats the purpose. 

You do have a point tho with the browser lite versions. Ad blockers work there too.

problem is I'll go use it from the hidden folder. Same way I constantly check my archived messages
