Throughout the game, I found part of myself wanting to root for Canada, and another part unable to do so. Even with many friends from and living there, the condescension towards the US from so many — not all! — makes it hard.  And while I was initially jealous that they had Marsh and we had Gregg, I’m glad each team signed the coach they did.
