Two weeks ago, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Stage 4, metastatic, all the words you don’t want to hear. So she’s optimizing for quality of time left, not quantity. She’s the fourth person in my immediate family: son, sister, dad, mom. Add my mother-in-law and grandparents beyond that. Beyond excited for the time when cancers are detected early and treated easily.
