"Yellow Dawn" starts with droning organ before transitioning to intense riffs and psychedelic elements. "New Rites" features Turner's most strained vocals, while "The Stone's Turn" combines shouting and chaotic tempo changes. SUMAC's music defies categorization, blending sludgy riffs, free jazz, noise, and drone to create a transcendent and emotionally intense experience.
