let's say your friend had a community airdrop claim ready to go live tomorrow... but it's a big US holiday where everyone west of the Atlantic and south of the 49th parallel will be outside touching fireworks and BBQ... would you tell your friend to wait until monday or just ship it?

The wait side seems a little more obvious. 

But some of the pros of launching now would be that other projects are holding back so this might stand out. Also, it gives the devs a moment to tinker if needed, and most people do have downtime to scroll unless they are actually hosting the party.  

People that are at parties and only have moments to scroll will feel FOMO
