The blockchain trilemma—balancing security, decentralization, and scalability—remains a critical challenge. Layer 2 solutions like rollups and sidechains offer promising scalability while maintaining decentralization. But true security and scalability hinge on innovative consensus mechanisms. Proof of Stake (PoS) is a step forward, but further research is needed. Excited to see where this journey leads us in building the future of decentralized finance and beyond.
