the common thread I seem to be learning at this crypto centric school of people is very few like memecoin traders and the happy-go-lucky content they create it isn’t doing farcaster favors imo

I am literally actively telling people that im not a memecoin trader when I mention farcaster and they “don’t like crypto” it’s not only not filling the wide content gap, but as you say, the gap it does fill is a turnoff. The only thing people seem to grok is programmable social (get money for likes) and the fact that I have the whole db on my computer— nobody cares that Zora turns every photo into a meme, and the only memecoin trader convo I heard is that they lose money.

LOL that’s not even programmable social to me. But it’s one use of it: Fun how tipping is what people get. Does it motivate them? I never get motivated by the tips but appreciate when I cash them out. Meaning it’s not a drive but a nice side effect for me. I think programmable social goes way beyond and is best shown by what @sahil and @yassinelanda.eth with their respective teams have done with algos and data leverage

We are the only ones who can create it because experience has sharpened your critical thinking, crypto generally will always never have any use case than making money to the average human.

it's not true because of how hard coded and self-reinforcing the trending and whatnot is. i've overshadowed by top memecoiners here 10/10 times
