But as the battle subsided and the carnage lay before him, Kael's triumph turned to anguish. He beheld the sea of faces, each one a life extinguished by his hand, and felt the weight of his actions. The glory of victory was lost to the crushing burden of guilt, as Kael realized that his unyielding ferocity had made him no better than the enemies he sought to vanquish..But regardless
