So story of Jeff. It rhymes with a word and well, here’s the short version.

We were on the homestead and this little scruffy dog would run up and down the road. His owner always looking for him.

One day he came onto the property, all of our dogs mauling him. Most likely friendly and not to hurt the little guy.

We went to the owner and told him we had Jeff and he’s ok, just to be careful, our dogs are trained to protect the livestock.

He responded, “Jeff has been dead for a year and a half…”

That said, we joked about this experience with a bit of sadness. A few ghost dogs came by, to this day I wonder if there was a portal on the land. A dog portal.
