I’d like to cool everyone down a bit and remind you that while crypto has its advantages, it also comes with major global risks. At some point, we’re going to face a hack of an unimaginable scale. Imagine BTC being stolen from BlackRock. Imagine lawsuits or a hack of MicroStrategy. Imagine a breach at Circle or Tether, followed by the issuance of unbacked funds that are then used to buy assets and take out loans through DeFi. Imagine a hack of AAVE or Curve — what would happen if USDT temporarily depegs? What would happen to DeFi then, as cascading liquidations wipe out pools across all networks?

DIVERSIFY.
Set things up so that even in the event of the worst possible hack, you only take a small hit. Digest that, and sleep well.
