I once saw a partial recreation and retrospective on this Degenerate Art exhibit. It featured modernists alongside mentally ill artists from the Prinzhorn collection. The Nazis did it to deride the modernists as being no better than mental patients, but this ended up giving fame to what became art brut / outsider art.

The other day marked 400 consecutive days of making these small drawings. The notebook is a Hobonichi Techo. I started doing this in January 2024 but it took me around 6 months to build a consistent habit. A few times, I have had panic dreams where I suddenly realize that I missed a day. This hasn't happened for a while.
