Started a new screenplay this week. The week before that, I plotted it out, almost in its entirety, which is quick, even for me. 26 pages in to what is a pretty clean first draft. Hoping to have the first draft completed by the end of next month, but the best thing about this (which I've tried to do but haven't achieved on most, if not all of my previous scripts) is that it's fully plotted out, beginning, middle, end, tent-poles, mid-point, flips, arcs, the lot. All I'm doing now is filling in the details, and adjusting slightly as I go. Now I'm going to take a break and do the shopping.
