I saw this video all around saying that unfiltered coffee methods, like French press or boiled coffee (which are exactly what I used), are worse for your health than filtered coffee. I might be too easy to influence, but it made me to buy my first V60 https://x.com/foundmyfitness/status/1935380379424129451

Would you not have to be drinking copious amounts of coffee a day to be at risk? Are espresso machines filtered or unfiltered?

1) I did not go into the details, but I've seen this quote: > If you’re drinking multiple cups per day, consider switching to filtered coffee. It preserves the antioxidants while minimizing cholesterol-raising compounds. 2) About espresso: > Espresso is considered unfiltered, although diterpene levels are lower than boiled/French press in absolute terms due to the quantity of espresso in each shot. For me, that was more like an extra reason to switch to filtered coffee since I wanted to anyway. But I’m sure it’s not the biggest threat to your health compared to bad everyday food, lack of movement etc
