Something that communicates information, or a point of view, or emotion. Something that tells me that the author has made an effort to engage, and has something to say. Tells me something about them, who they are, what they are going through, and why they are casting (which isn't to get a reaction, or to be seen, it's to expose themselves, to ask for help, to reach out and communicate and not attention seek) I don't mind shit posting, but there's nothing worse than someone dressing up a shit post as quality content. It's a fine line but when you spot it, it shines line a compacting star. I guess its pretty obvious to me what is content for engagement farming and what is content to educate or ask to be educated.
