KAIZEN DAY 01: Building the Foundation for Change
When people seek change, they often focus on the habits they want to build or break rather than on themselves. True change, however, begins from within. You cannot transform your habits without first transforming yourself, and vice versa.
Consider two individuals trying to quit smoking. When offered a cigarette, the first says, "No thanks, I'm trying to quit," while the second declares, "No thanks, I don't smoke." The first still identifies as a smoker attempting to stop, while the second has embraced a new identity as a non-smoker, making the habit easier to break.
Reflect on this: What kind of person do you want to become? Build small, consistent wins to reinforce that identity. When your sense of self evolves, adopting or shedding habits becomes effortless. Work from the inside out, not the outside in!
