ETH has been mooning, and we’ve been averaging over 100k daily tips this month, but the txn fees we cover have increased too. To keep operations sustainable while maximizing fees distributed to $tipn stakers, we plan to simplify our current dynamic fee schedule, capped at 1¢, to a flat 1¢ fee for all tips This change has not yet been implemented but is scheduled to take effect on Friday, August 29

Thank you for the update and for explaining why it is necessary, I really appreciate the transparency. One thought: sometimes I’d prefer to like a comment without tipping (e.g. deeper in a thread after liking the main cast). With 1 cent fees, that adds up. Could tips adapt to the context so a user only gets tipped once per thread, even if I like multiple comments by them? It would be great to have this as an option in the settings maybe 🤔
