@tipn & @betrmint question/issue that maybe others have... * I wasn't using tipn to tip on likes * I set it up to tip on likes with small amount of $$ * My $BETR allo showed up, see photo 1 * I tipped out my allowed USDC * Now my $BETR allo is gone & it says approves USDC, see photo 2 I'm way to promiscuous with likes to be tipping out USDC and have no plans to do it. So, do I still have may $BETR allowance for this season or is only for people who are actively tipping USDC on likes? (cc: @niftytime.eth @toadyhawk.eth )

hey Brad so in order to comment tip (not simply activate it) your tipn likes need to be active doesn’t matter what tip value and then your allocation balance will display + you’ll earn $tipn for any USDC you tip out + you get to tip magic internet money like $betr that’ll earn you an end-of-season bonus 9000 $betr

Ok. thanks. What is the minimum amount to be actively tipping on likes....is it 0.02 or 0.01? Can you set it to 0.00001 USDC? I'm not trying to be stingy. I have a couple reasons that micro tipping isn't my style that I'd be happy to share apart from this question.

1 cent is the minimum we have set now growing the user network grows the benefits for allocators + tippers across the network helps line up cool future allocation partners that are putting up bigger more valuable allocations not to mention helps increase the fees that stakers earn (that any tipper can become at any time with the $tipn every tipper earns) our approach is if you give value you should get a lot back especially as an allocator 9000 $betr

Ok. Thanks. All makes sense. I'm not a dev. This stuff can be new to me and I'm sometimes slow to jump in. I like the experimenting. Sometimes it's hard to picture how some of this stuff works. I think I'll jump in with this season and see where things go and learn by doing. Thanks for explaining. 🫡 (and the $BETR)

Ah, Toady, Thanks! You didn't need to do that! I didn't want to sound like an ungrateful, stingy, zero sum curmudgeon. I'm only a betr believer b/c of you guys and I'm well aware! I've had a bent against micro-tipping only as a personal preference.... b/c likes go far and wide and you end up putting in $30 for a month and a couple hundred people get a dime or a nickel or a quarter. I like to invest back in with something meaningful to a crowdfund or buy something of someone's or do a few extra betr rounds for a creator. So, I've never really connected with anonymous pennies going out lost in the shuffle. Anyway just context. I appreciated nifty's explanation and how it grows the system for someone like me to not sit on the sidelines. I appreciate what you sent, greatly! But feel bad that you felt like you needed to send it. 👊
