Some Highlights From this Quarter: 🔥 Won $25K “Best Live Mini App” at the Base Onchain Summer Awards 🔥 Selected as 1 of 50 projects (out of 700+ applicants) for Base Batches in Buenos Aires 🔥 Pitched BETRMINT & BETR Labs to hundreds of partners and investors at Ethereum Worlds Fair. 🔥 Invited to give a lightning talk at Farcaster Developers Day (NYC) 🔥 Shipped a major UX upgrade to the mini app that the community loves 🔥 Launched a “Powered by BETRMINT” bespoke staking terminal for $mintedmerch 🔥 Dropped an exclusive BETR hoodie + hat collection via @mintedmerch store 🔥 Featured on today’s Clanker Spotlight with a special Free Spin round that was fully claimed in 40 min! 🔥 Collaborated with builders & creators across the ecosystem including $DONUT, @purp, @juujuumama.eth, @myk, @skycastle, @tamas, @clanker, TIPN, Minted Merch, @dau, Ponder, pramadan — and many more. 🔥 Beyond the app, @burr.eth has been running weekly poker nights and special regular sit-and-go games for BETR Believers, helping keep the community tight and spirits high during tougher market days! -- Some Things We’ve Learned: 💡 Tokens can be powerful positive-sum incentive tools when designed with intention and used with transparency. 💡 Community matters more than you think. 💡 Revenue-share staking is a strong alignment mechanism and token sink, even without lockups. 💡 Building with a live, liquid token (and all the macro noise that comes with it) is not for the faint of heart, but it’s worth it. 💡 There’s huge pent-up demand from founders and creators for turnkey onchain distribution on Farcaster and Base App. With BETR Labs, @netnose, @burr.eth and I are now building directly on these lessons and using BETRMINT’s proven distribution engine (plus a few new experiments 👀) to inform what we’re cooking next. 👨‍🍳 More to come soon, but let’s just say that 2025 has been a movie and we want to make sure 2026 is going to be even BETR! Saw some folks moving funds out of their warplets in protest so I decided to join in… and do the exact opposite by sending more dry powder IN to mine. Why? - Because I like it here. - Because it’s still the best place to surface interesting apps by based builders, and app coins that let me bet on those builders early - Because I have always felt supported and rewarded for the energy I have brought here, both from the team (@dwr @v @linda @horsefacts.eth) and the communities I’ve curated (/yellow, @betrmint) - Because I know pmf mazes are borderline impossible and I’m here for all the onchain experiments - Because by and large, social networks are what you imagine them to be - Because I think a lot of this negative sentiment is misplaced ire at the past few months of down-only price action when we’re “supposed to be” in a bull market Obviously nobody is perfect and missteps can happen. So can miscommunications and mishandlings. But at the end of the day, Farcaster is still one of the coziest corners on the new internet, with some of the greatest people and most abundant opportunities, and imo it’s important not to miss the forest for a few trees. It’s good to give feedback and constructive criticism, or to contribute to the network in ways you’d like to see it grow, but dunking for the sake of dunking doesn’t really move the needle. I still believe this is one of the best places to hang out in all of crypto, and I’m committed to doing my part to keep making it BETR. 🫡

Just over six months ago, netnose and I came together with a plan to build an app that would use the unique viral potential of Farcaster mini apps to give creators real opportunities to get paid for their creativity. The result was @betrmint, and its native community clanker $BETR, and we had no idea the ride we were in for. Fast-forward to today, two seasons later, and the numbers really do speak for themselves: 🩵 77 rounds hosted. 🩷 64,000 spins 🩵 $180,000 in tx volume. 🩷 $60,000 paid directly to featured creators. 🩵 Over $130,000 worth of reward tokens distributed to players 🩷 Consistently 10,000 unique users per month and Top 10 Mini App Leaderboard for several months running. 🩵Over 65% of circulating $BETR staked and $3,000+ in staking rewards paid in month one alone. 🩷 A healthy $1M market cap for $BETR with one of the strongest token communities on Base. 🩵 App has been featured by farcaster, TBA, 11am, buildonbase, splits, ethereum foundation and many more. This season, we also collaborated with so many projects and communities we love: $DEGEN, @ripsapp, @tipn, @dau, @ponder… each bringing their own flavor into the neonverse. We became the earliest active community on @rocketman’s Cobuild App, with 470 people voluntarily setting $BETR as their token, fueling $800+ in buybacks. Our new Karma Quest feature kicked off strong with in-app @matchaxyz swaps driving $6,000 in volume in week one. Burr somehow ran hundreds of poker tournaments and kept the community in good spirits at all times (does she sleep?) We also hosted NEONCHAIN Summer, a full-blown onchain festival featuring 15 rounds, $15K in rewards paid to artists and 14,000+ mints of bespoke neon art from some of the most talented creators in the space. We believed the timeline would be much BETR with more art, and it was. Behind the curtain, we turned every dial and fiddled with every lever: finally extending round lengths from 10-12 minutes to 20–30 for more inclusive participation by adding more games, larger prize pools and additional mint friction to balance supply and demand. If you tried to play BETRMINT in the past and got frustrated because the rounds were over so fast, please give it another try. If you’re paying attention when the round goes live, it’s a LOT easier to get in now and try it out. — So that was Season 2 in a nutshell. And now… we are about to begin Season 3 and I’m very excited! Here just a few of the things we are thinking about, working on and planning for in the next few months: ⚡ Pumped-Up Karma: in season 3 you’ll earn double for minting, spinning, and winning, giving new folks a chance to climb the leaderboard ranks. 🤖 Clankers Do It BETR: a month-long collab starting next week and spotlighting clanker communities with market-bought prize pools + live streams, courtesy of @dish and the amazing Clanker team. ✍️ BETR x Drawcast: weekly neon drawing contests every Saturday with $BETR + $DRAW rewards, with a custom interface cooked by @tamastorok.eth 👀 A custom neon Spin-to-Claim staking implementation built for a partner mini app / token community coming this month. More soon. 🎨 New collabs with lots more mini apps, tokens, protocols and projects. 📱 A fresh UX update rolling out soon. 👀 📜 More exciting Karma Quests with new partners. 🏆 More ways to spin and more Staking Stackpots on the wheel. 🏰 @skycastle: I was excited to join this incubator as a founding partner and will be helping new builders find their footing and explore mini app token distribution strategies leveraging @noiceapp, $tipn, bankr, Rips + more. Our big hairy audacious goals for this season: 💪 Refine our systems and processes so that we can scale to 5 rounds a week (which will scale all our metrics up by 25%) 💰 Surpass $300K in volume and grow $BETR organically to a $10M MC by year end. 🩵 Surpass $100K in creator rewards paid. 📺 Expand reach to values-aligned X-native communities with targeted airdrops and collaborations. 🟦 Grow our presences on @baseapp.base.eth via Spindl’s beta in feed onchain ad platform (which we were recently accepted to.) — In conclusion: Six months in, BETRMINT has proven that when you combine a compelling mini app experience with thoughtful tokenomics, strong community, creator focus, and a little serendipitous speculation thrown in for good measure… there’s no telling how far we can go together. And after all, as we have been known to ask, what could be BETR than winning together? — Ok ok To that point… From the BETRMINT team, we want to thank you all so much for the constant support and enthusiasm. It’s the reason we do it and this community surprises us every day. You’ve all been minting, spinning, winning, questing, staking for months, and like the neon flywheel, what goes around comes back around!
