Metaplanet 🇯🇵 continues to issue zero-interest bonds to purchase BTC, so why are people willing to lend them money at 0% interest?The key lies in Metaplanet's issuance of a series of stock acquisition rights tied to the bond issuance. In other words, they allow investors to buy company shares in the future at a predetermined price. This is somewhat similar to MicroStrategy's convertible bonds but slightly more complex, possibly because Japanese law may not permit the issuance of convertible bonds 🤷♂️. Source ThuanCapital
