I have played with a lot of small desktop cncs, printers and lasers and built much larger shop cncs. It really depends on what you need to make or cut and the amount of time you have. Its not going to be that fast and you have to use the correct kinds of aluminum for it to work best (extrusions are very of gummy)

You can search amazon / youtube for 3018 or 3030 cnc and there are TONS of cheap chinese desktop cncs that have been around for quite a long time, I think this will have similar capabilities but has a fancier case and interface. The software is more important than the machines, vectric aspire is the gold standard.
