Could tokens designate an “official frame”? Appears on FC wallet + token search

Good idea. Seems like it would be pretty easy and useful

It seems like the tricky part could be permissioning: Who officially represents the token? How do they initiate the designation? How does FC side vet and approve?

Yeah. Perhaps the token deployer wallet address would need to be connected to the FID of the person requesting the mini app link?

Well, I guess it would depend on how the token was deployed in the first place. But if it’s Clanker, Virtual, Rainbow, etc…I think it’s pretty easy to track the wallet that requested the deployment. There’s probably a way to automate that for verifying “ownership,” right?

But how would a virtual deployment, for example, be connected to an FID?

You can see the “dev” wallet for any virtual. So if that wallet is connected to an FID, I would imagine an API could read that to make sure it matches to the FID that is requesting the frame button on the token page. It makes sense in my mind, but maybe not. 🤷🏽‍♂️
