I try to remember to thank everyone who reports a bug to me about Bracky. People are taking their time to tell us what’s wrong rather than just thinking “this product sucks, oh well” and disappearing. It’s sometimes hard for me to remember to do this, since each bug they report is somewhat painful to experience — it’s embarrassing at the least, and a lot of extra work for you to do at the most. But it’s actually a super positive thing for people to do. It’s the only way stuff gets discovered and therefore fixed — amazing to be able to do that process while keeping community together.

love that. unsolicited feedback in that spirit. I miss having the Bracket app experience with a UI where I can monitor my positions. talking to the bot is amusing (and I think sometimes a better use case as it makes for fun casts) but it makes mistakes and doesn't compare to having a way to view my bets. I likely would have been a daily user of this app during the NBA playoffs (while the nuggets were still in) but I fell off after I gave up on talking to the bot. The bot is very impressive! I just want to have both options to trade and monitor.

Thanks for saying it — we are in full agreement with you. No one is more impatient about the reunion of the two sides than us (esp @passafiume.eth who is cooking bracket v2 behind scenes 😏) The short of it is that both the agent and the app will eventually be able to book trades to the exact same prediction markets, but getting that all wired up and synced at the smart contract level is a huge lift. We had to choose one path to focus on, and the agent is the one that had the best potential to grow in other spaces (twitter, discord, tg, etc). The design space and growth mechanisms for LLMs in-feed is astounding. At the same time we knew this was going to be a downgraded overall trading experience for anyone who’s used to Bracket app. That hurts. Our bet is the upside of figuring out the agent is going to make this trade off worth it in the long run — since this will be how we make bracket markets extremely robust and fun in the long run (many more people, many more markets, much more liquidity)

appreciate the context! and makes sense. if you can master and really push at the edges with the bot, the other interface is more straight forward to build.
