I've been making Games for a year now.
And I'm very impressed by Warpcast Rewards Leaderboard algo.  

The key to a good Game is balance for competitor types, and here we see:

1. OG users w large followings can win.
2. OG users w smaller followings can win.
3. Brand new users of all kinds can win.
