do they have any thoughts about the TeleMessage scandal? does the foundation think they should play a role in allowing for or creating signal encrypted apps that can be configured to be compliant for government employees?

historically signal has not been open to 3rd party implementations of their protocol and using their servers. are they going to clamp down on this further due to this negative light on signal caused by a 3rd party TeleMessage + govt workers?

she has not specifically addressed telemessage but did cite and get into a little the impact of salt typhoon her stance at the moment is that she and the foundation are bystanders by design and that their approach to the app is to do "one thing and one thing well" regardless of who the user is having said that, she did state that she does believe government officials should have access to neutral technology that is not profit driven to handle and protect their communications (interestingly it doesn't seem like she's claiming telegram fits that bill)
