wax is a very new material for me. jeweler’s wax comes in a few different grades; green is one of the hardest, which makes it better for more detailed work. 

it is slow going. yesterday i broke a model i was working on (snapped two iterations of it), a ring form, and my saw blade 😂 so i knew it was time to take a break. 

my goal was to create 11 pieces this week, which seems a bit too lofty now. 

anyway, i forge onward!
