As for the context of this: I talked to @cojo.eth about what to fix in the Kiwi mini app, and IMO, he correctly insisted that people should be able to interact immediately with it.
Now, in a technical sense, these upvotes are now going to be stored on a centralized database opposed to the usual upvotes. That is because no signature is being done in this case, it's just a REST API.
As for original content, I feel like this is much harder to achieve without having people sign up. That is because then protocolized messages would actually reference content that is stored centrally. That's why, for now at least, mini app users cannot submit, comment or react to comments.
So for now, consider this what it would be like if you used the fully fledged Kiwi News app. The mini app rn is a demo 1 reply
