adding trending tokens feature made me so happy

w my little context so far, my opinion has always been that farcaster should embrace degen/speculation *at heart* 

(and while @dwr.eth said trading isn’t inherently social — quote isn’t verbatim^)

nobody has won this in crypto social for years (which makes it so lucrative. North Star in this case^: (money moved/traded every 24hrs via warplets) 

if over 6 months they were to embace it, i think theyd ship ~50% of these: 

> reduce the taps to a buy 
> introduce quick buys 
> add all related “casts” about a token on the home page 
> (might not do it) but ideally make token launching via clanker more intuitive/add it more deeply 
> show aggregated pnl of fc users 
> see holdings of any fc user
> notifs when my fc follows buy sth
> auto buy/auto sell 

yeah essentially they just build specs from /castmoney lol

i know they wont do all of this shouldn’t also

but what’s worked the most is the speculation / ICM / token communities et alo

for farcaster to make dent into twitter prevalence among crypto community they would have to embrace speculation to a degree

They're more focused on bots/spam. I mean a botfree social is good but I think they're over doing it.
