why am i so obsessed with finding a single metric that captures the entire onchain attention economy?

over the past months, i've shipped 50+ formulas on @checkr to analyze farcaster and twitter activity and extract actionable insights for @base coins

current categories:

1. global performance metrics (home stats)
2. attention & quality metrics (checkr ecosystem)
3. social conversation metrics (mindshare, social rsi, engagement)
4. user activity metrics (unique users, cast counts, cast impact)
5. market metrics (price, volume, market cap)
6. influence & correlation metrics (social-price relationships)

next step? compressing it all into just a few stats:

is there one dumb metric that any non degen maxing person would also understand

and then how could you apply the same metric to all tokens across all chains 

and optimise for X — where there’s a lot more new tokens / even existing tokens

if all doesn’t go well there’s a kaito/cookie acquisition 

but it’s swing big summer

that’s the attention metric, limited to 40 coins for now, focusing on quality. farcaster and twitter have different mechanisms, so the formula’s still in tuning mode until i combine both feeds into a single global metric
