i think online people have almost become too aware of the concept of "slop" to the point that it is detrimental to one's ability to enjoy things basically anything that the general public enjoys is now construed as slop bc people have desire to signal as having individualistic and differentiated taste but of course, many things are actually slop curious

One side effect of running my own businesses for 8 years is when a not so great situation happens you're so used to getting punched in the gut a lot that your brain has been trained to just handle it as best as possible and move on. Otherwise you'd be at a complete standstill all the time

"Birthday" is a holiday that doesn't exist There is no time in the general sense either, it is a unit of measurement that people have come up with. And corporations came up with a birthday so that you would have a reason to splurge on all your friends once again instead of spending money on something important and so that you were constantly planning and in suspense, women were complaining because of age, etc. You were born once I mean, if you don't like something, you don't have to do it. I'm not trying to be cynical
