I finally figured out how to get Vim navigation everywhere on Linux. So I thought I'd write a little update on everything I've been doing on Linux since my last post. https://thumbsup.me/posts/vim-everywhere-on-linux/

Tested Clearly. Not sure what’s up but it doesn’t seem to have any of the features it claims to have. It’s a super basic markdown app à la Typora. Definitely not what I’m looking for. Can’t recommend.

Holy shit. The makers of Bear (imo, the best note taking app ever), have made a native markdown note-taking app finally. I love Obsidian's features and really like Steph's approach to problem solving, but the UX of Bear always pulls me back. This is almost certainly going to be my go to. https://blog.bear.app/2026/06/introducing-lettera-a-native-markdown-editor-for-mac-now-in-beta/
