I have officially ended the blog. This is a bit of an end of an era for me. As many of you know I began this project blogging about DeFi, under the name Thumbs Up Finance. In 2021, I would end up meeting the moment perfectly: people wanted to learn about crypto but needed non-technical writing. As someone with years of university behind me, it was easy for me to read whitepapers and docs, interview people on discord, and make explainers or tutorials. I was hired by many major projects to produce this kind of content. PoolTogether, Cryptex, Layer3, Push, Rainbow and many many more. I got myself out of debt. I was early to many protocols and ecosystems. I earned airdrops. I tested out tools and minted NFTs and wrote a thesis that the only value any NFT has is as a receipt, or better yet, a "proof-of-patronage" to an artist, charity, or project. I shared my vision of what crypto could be. On Mirror, my readers were "collecting" my articles. I made income and personal connections. Then things shifted...
