This is effectively my take on 404 Media’s viral headline about Proton. I say headline because the article itself does cover that this is all that happened and quotes Proton’s response that if people pay with crypto they won’t have anything for the govt to subpoena. Nonetheless, everyone has been up in arms. I’ve been a Proton fan for years and this changed nothing for me.
