I agree with you,hardwork alone will not and will never get you there,don’t underestimate the value of opportunities,connections,resources and skills they all need to work hand in hand.What hard work didn’t get you in Five years knowing just the right person or the right connection can get it for you in days.

To be honest, yes, and it's so weird that some people who do the barest minimum end up doing better than does putting in the work. But like you said, at the end of the day, the universe owes us nothing.

No single factor, not talent, not even dumb luck. It’s a messy mix of effort, timing, access, audacity and chance. Even at that the universe owes us nothing. 🤷🏼‍♂️
