This sentiment and similar always feels like a half truth tbh. In many ways the universe is trying to kill us. It is not at all friendly. But each person can listen to the still small voice inside them and find what is the right path despite the naysayers. It’s not the universe we should trust.

I get that. The universe can feel hostile—chaotic, even cruel. I’ve felt that, too. For me, it’s less about the universe being “friendly”and more about recognizing that whatever unfolds, even the hard stuff, can be met with presence. Pure perception. I trust not because life is easy, but because I’ve seen beauty emerge from the darkest things. The still small voice you mention, that’s what I call Source. Maybe we’re pointing at the same thing, just from different sides of the mountain.
