I think a natural extension of this idea is that an app can make revenue from ads, thus subsidizing costs for users and providing access for free. Is it feasible?

I believe that Chris @cdixon.eth Dixon will forever (or at least for as long as I'm alive) be remembered as someone who relentlessly and consistently defended the open Internet when most people didn't really care. I'm new here and decided to go the easy way, via Warpcast. *Very* surprised it doesn't have an equivalent of X's "Following" tab. I was sure it's be the default in any Farcaster client that's not driven by ads revenue. Weird.

but the app will have to be literally rewritten to be usable in any real setting. It’s the kind of app you would write in a React basics workshop for frontend devs. That’s not to say it’s not impressive of course. It just leaves all the hard stuff out.
