been following anti-alcohol trend due to huberman, rise of nonalc drinks, working in tech, etc, but still shocked to read that its the "3rd leading preventable cause of cancer" 1. not sure forcing a label will have any impact on alc sales 2. what happens if research finds link between soda + increased risk of cancer?

Reminding me a bit of the second-hand smoke hysteria from a couple decades back. There are a lot of alcoholics out there who must count for the bulk of cases. I doubt the risks of casual drinking are a significant concern but they are going to lump everything together anyway.
