it's not so much about the app as the culture on the app. it's just like everywhere else where people who already have a network are able to grow their engagement and get rewarded (whether by actual rewards like here or just marketing yourself which is what i need as an artist). it's not a problem specific to farcaster. twitter is like that too, i just have an advtange there that i've been on there for 17 years so i have followers incentivizing users with rewards is great! but the top users are making like 100x what i'm making and its all the same people all the time, so that's not feeling like an incentive for me. and i'm sure, as has been said, that the pro thing won't affect the algo but it will affect how people perceive each other
