Esp on base they all default to blue. Here it’s all about purple. But green is THE color and nobody uses it.

great observation. most banks / fintechs also default to the color blue (paypal, morgan stanley, jpm, amex, visa) whereas very few cultural / fashion / sports companies use the color blue.

on the contrary, several consumer-focused companies do use green: lacoste, spotify, hulu, xbox, heineken, whatsapp, starbucks.
