What's the most successful @zora coin launch so far (outside of @jacob's horse) and what were the creator fees generated? 

From a legal perspective what are the chain-of-title implications of launching on zora?  Has anybody done a deep dive on that side of things?

it was the "Base is for Everyone" iirc with $175k generated. cc @resipsa probably has a POV from a legal perspective.

the Zora Terms specify the license creators grant to Zora, which allows Zora to display creator content and integrate the relevant blockchain mechanisms. Zora users retain copyright to their work. the license to Zora is narrower to what a user may grant to Meta/Instagram, for example.

Interesting. I guess what I think a lot of creatives are interested/concerned about are the implications of launching a coin for every post and what that means for them as individuals or companies. 

Say Bill Watterson starts a Zora account and posts drawings/strips etc of Calvin and Hobbes, does each and every post need a tos to make sure that people know they aren't legally buying a piece of Calvin and Hobbes or is that implied. 

Or say an up and coming artist with a new character IP builds out a fandom on Zora or with a pump launch of a memecoin. Netflix comes knocking and wants to make it into a series. I feel like their legal department would have a stroke re: chain of title. 

If there was a clear understanding around some of this stuff, I feel like onboarding would be a lot easier to new paradigms.

Zora coin transactions are permissionless P2P transactions that are similar to conventional Uniswap pool transactions. tokens deployed through the Zora Protocol don’t pass through Zora’s hands. protocol rewards are programmatically distributed through an escrow contract, through which Zora earns protocol rewards alongside other reward recipients.

This one might need an * though as I think that it traded heavily on the assumption it was somehow tied to a base airdrop.
