Energy use per person versus GDP per capita makes it relatively clear that increasing the kilowatt hour per person increases GDP. 

It just really makes you think about the fact that everything really is downstream from energy. Energy, having energy means that you can do more work, you can make more food you can support more of your citizens and your fellow humans. It’s just the reality. 

Just really makes me think about how we need to produce more energy, when you think about how there’s a revival going on with nuclear reactors coming back online in the United States because AI data centers are driving electricity demand

I don’t know if I completely agree with this, because not all atoms are splittable at least with the technology today essentially not all atoms are available for fission. 

Pedantic - but also the energy in the universe is finite, even though it might feel like it’s unlimited 

But I get the intention behind what you are trying to say

Well, everything is energy. If we can split the atom and have tremendous energy be released, let's split them all. We got plenty of atoms, I'd say that's fairly unlimited.

There is no unlimited energy generation. Energy doesn’t come for free in the universe at least not something that we know of yet. There is no free lunch in physics. 

So far. So once again we’ll have to settle for increase in energy density sources that we can tap and different ways to generate energy or store energy and release energy. And there’s an increasing louder that we can climb in terms of the tech tree.
