can I ask about the viability of building something similar with morpho in base? what would you change or repeat? i have doubts about governance, particularly, does it enables too much complexity on treasury availability?

I am just exploring morpho stuff, and I know about bread some time ago so, I thought that a good starting project would be something similar to bread, a 1:1 stable with usdc that send the usdc to earn yield in morpho vaults (I know that the result will be 37 dollars in the vault at maximum but it is more something I want to explore) to be honest, last week even studied bread contract and how to do small modifications to get what I am looking for but finally choose to simplify (remove governance and others) and do it from scratch my question is just to learn a bit from someone who already built it and about gov, I will remove it in first stage in favor of fast movement but I think there is no better way or would you do this different if you were doing it again rn? don't need to answer haha sorry for all this lont text 😅

I guess for me the governance in terms of yield distribution is the point but if you're looking to do it simply as an exercise to familiarize with Morpho and BREAD then I'd definitely be interested in how you change it. I'd recommend looking at optimism builders dollar which is a white label version of bread that uses aave on optimism as a starting point :)

yeah, the whole point resides in doing it collectively, so the governance (or any other mechanism) is essential but may experiment with that, idk, will see on the go, I guess 😅 interesting recommendation, gonna check on this, ty
