Helped a friend pick up these Electro Voice "The Marquis" speakers yesterday and after demoing them in my garage my mind was blown. Can't stop thinking about them. (Should have got a better photo, story of my life)

the soundstage was very deep and the drums in particular had very sharp, snappy, punch, almost as if the drum was in the room. What's crazy is that I was using a cheap Lepei amp to drive them, and it was still quite astonishing. The crazy part is that we paid $75 for them... and im now realizing how long it's going to be before I find another deal that good. I have Klipsch KG4's, but they have a bit smaller waveguide... I need to listen to more large waveguide/horn speakers to tell, but I think it makes a bigger difference than I had imagined.
