The US will have to acquire massive amounts of ETH over anything else and here’s why:

The reserve has two tiers:

- Tier 1 (“The heart of the Reserve”): BTC and ETH
- Tier 2 (“includes”): XRP, SOL, ADA

What’s interesting is that the US already owns 207k BTC ($19.2B) but only 54k ETH ($138m).

With ETH being declared as the heart of the Reserve along with BTC, the US has to acquire a massive amounts of ETH even if the allocation weight is based on current market cap weighting. 

Maybe this is why @EricTrump has been so bullish on ETH because the majority of the BTC allocation of the Reserve has already been acquired but the US doesn’t own enough ETH. None us do.

I still have so many questions:

- Doesn’t this have to take the arduous journey through congress?
- Is the Reserve satisfied with the amount of BTC already owned or are they looking to expand it even further?
- Start date and buying cadence?
- Does the funding for this utilize @SenLummis’s gold conversion idea?
