You can do this today on the miniapp via the share extension feature. 

Just add @tipdotmd and it will be available when you click share on any cast.

Received this feedback today after tip so thought worth a recast : we support share extension since day 1, try sharing any cast and you’ll see the miniapp.

Click on it and it auto selects the recipient as the cast author.

This was so forward looking to bake this in as a feature and yet still have it be kind of ‘hidden’ - good job explaining/educating users how to do it!

Question: is there any notifications of when tips received and by who? 

Maybe send a weekly notification or monthly to view and a list of tippers - it’s be good to track that data and be able to attribute when tipped and by who

In the works + leaderboard, trying to find the best way to implement it and was waiting for data to be meaningful. 

That being said, you can view who tipped you on the app now, go in the “history” tab.

Ah I missed the history. Adding the tip button to my GitHub and website now

Yes 4% fee is across chains, on Solana it's 2 Txs that are constructed as Solana allows this.
For webapp I use Split but on Miniapp i ended up using Disperse, which is a better UX imo, so might align both.
In MCP I use x402 to collect tip + CDP SDK to perform the distribution.

Is the split only for the 0x address and EVM ?

Does solana or lightning also do 96/4 split
