GN @base.base.eth family The Mars Express spacecraft took this new image of Mars on July 13, 2024. The dark object hovering above Mars (in the middle of this image) is its largest moon, Phobos. The dark orange protrusion near the edge is the largest volcano in our solar system, Olympus Mons. In addition, if you look closely at the edges of Mars itself in this new image of Mars, you can see strands of Mars' thin atmosphere in the darkness of space.
