what a privilege to say “yeah I can wait”

what prompted this:

i finished my meetings and work and rushed to my stylist, 5 mins late to the appointment— worried not that i was late, but that now it’ll spillover into the next hour and i had to be back for a few calls

meanwhile, as i was getting done — a man walked in and inquired, the stylist told him it’s gonna take some time

and replied “Yeah, I can wait”

Truly unimaginable how some of the deepest lessons are hidden in such mundane situations

when you’re not in a hurry
when you have all the time in the world
when you’re not on a clock
when there’s no emergency
