I really love non-fussy documentaries that take you behind-the-scenes of various crafts.
This series from the @rte about different Irish craft traditions, from Irish lace, to stonecraft, to shoemaking, is so so good:

The team built an insane BFCM city (it’s a real, handcrafted mini-city), and I’m so tickled by the Stripe Press library 🤭

Stewart Brand is a rare breed. His m.o. for decades has been getting to the future before the rest of us, particularly with the internet.

One thing I hope we chat about: fiction!
I've never been a huge short stories person, but I picked this up for 50 cents at the Chilmark Public Library a few months back and have totally fallen in love with William Trevor. Specifically how he imbues so much depth into very mundane scenes.

Thinking of using this account mostly to surface books I come across…
Picked this up from The Strand’s archival collection. It isn’t really a fit for Stripe Press, but it’s a great read if you like extremely detailed financial histories and/or are curious about the early railroad era
