Kind of funny to me that the "ETH is digital oil" narrative is making a comeback. This is how Eth was originally marketed for the ICO, though the implication back then was quite different. The idea being oil is a utility commodity, not a scarce SOV commodity like gold, (so don't expect tokenomics to make # go up)
